Another crisis is brewing in Rivers State. Early this evening, the convoy of the governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi was prevented from using one of the two entrances to the Government House in Port Harcourt by a team of police. The governor's convoy was stopped by four truck loads of policemen as it made its way through the private gate of the governor's official residence. The policemen, led by several senior officers, claimed they were acting on orders from above.
